Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser for the Junior Shooting team, Saturday, May 5, serving 4:30 to 7 p.m., donation adults $6 and children under 12 $4. Gentlemen, don't forget to ask your chef to bring one of those delightful desserts that always magically appear only to disappear from the OSC dessert tables.
The guest of honor will be Frank Taucher, from Frank's True Value store in Hancock. He will do the drawing for the "members only Pistol raffle" to benefit the Junior Pistol Team. Frank generously donated the Ruger Mark III Target Pistol prize. Judy still has tickets for members who would like to purchase tickets before the drawing.
Regular monthly membership meeting, Monday, May 7, 7:30 p.m. This will be the first steak fry of the season preceding the meeting. Grill your own steak (available at a nominal price) on the charcoal fire beginning at 6:30. The club will provide coffee, salad and roll.
June 11-15 will be Shooting Camp for youth 14-18. Class space is limited making an early response necessary. Contact Ron Granroth at 906-523-4320 or email@example.com

It's time to pay our MUCC dues and we have 354 paid up members as of today. We're dropping about 46 who haven't paid their dues for 2007.

Action Pistol Shooting Thursdays 6:30
May 31 is deadline for youth to have in applications for Shooting Sports Camp which is June 11-15, 2007. The price is $25 and the kids get a book, t-shirt, hat. Must provide eye and ear protection unless they make arrangements with Ron Granroth to have some available for them.
There was such good results on the pistol raffle that Turning Targets are being purchased for the range.
Endowment committee awarded a grant to Sacred Heart School in L'Anse for $400. Scholarships were also awarded to Aaron Wuori and Sam Gardner in the amount of $500.
Both the Wild Game Feed and the Spaghetti Supper were well attended. The Wild Game Feed may have been the best one so far. The Spaghetti Supper fed about 110.
Tammy Mantilla will be assisting Sue Dyke with the rental of the club.
