Dear Ottawa Sportsmen's Club member:
Any member interested in the formation of a local Ruffed Grouse Society Chapter read this notice. The OSC is supporting the effort and is providing this notice to its members should they be interested.
John Stenvig, OSC President.
The Ruffed Grouse Society (RGS) is exploring interest in the establishment of a local chapter encompassing Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga and Ontonagon counties. RGS is dedicated to promoting conditions suitable for grouse, woodcock and related wildlife to sustain our hunting tradition and outdoor heritage. To determine interest and further explain the benefits of forming a local chapter, there will be an organization meeting on Thursday, April 3, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. to be held at the Ottawa Sportsmen's Club on M-38, 7 miles West of Baraga. Everyone interested in learning more about the Ruffed Grouse Society and the benefits of local chapter membership are encouraged to attend. Questions may be addressed to Chris Raymond 906-482-0550; email Chrisraymond@infinitecom.com.
