Now that you all have your snail mail annual news/dues letter and events schedule we would urge you to set aside dates you would be able to actively participate. Letís all help a little to make our club break the records for participation and pitch in by attending some meetings and participating in the maintenance of the buildings and ranges, help out at highway pickups, Wild Game Feed, Spaghetti Supper for the pistol team, youth shooting sports camp, annual picnic, camp at Courtney Lake, Hunter Education, site-in days, and lastly, our main income, the Turkey Shoot!! If everyone who can pitches in a few to many times a year we could break the two percent average that prevails in so many groups like ours.
Saturday, February 2, 11:00 a.m., the U.P. Muzzle Loader Shoot will be at the club. The cost is $3.00 to shoot with an additional $3.00 for lunch. Spectators welcome. If you need any information contact Jerry Glisson at 906-338-2822 or email@example.com
Next regular monthly meeting is Monday, February 4, 7:30 p.m. at the clubhouse on M-38 at Pelkie Road.
Saturday, April 13, 5:00 p.m., will be the Annual Wild Game Feed for members and guests. Bring a dish to pass (wild game is preferred, but not mandatory as we do need some veggies! & desserts, Yum! Yum!). The winner will be drawn for the "members only" raffle of a Stoeger Upland Supreme 20 gauge shotgun side by side 26 inch double barrels with choke tubes and high grade wood in a case. You need not be present to win. Tickets were included with your news/dues letter, but if you need some they are at the clubhouse or contact the membership secretary.
